CHALLENGE

WHY SICES

My challenge is to continue to shape the business for the current globalised market, to build resilience for the next 40 years.

“My father, Alberto Curioni, set up SICES company in 1977. Alberto Curioni led SICES with a "hands on" approach to business. He was always there with his customers discussing their needs, or on site during the commissioning of the system, ensuring any issues were immediately resolved. SICES has always been capable to deliver unique competitive solutions, no matter how complex. Alberto Curioni constantly strived for technical excellence, this in turn led SICES to Pioneer innovative solutions to the problems his customers were encountering. A good example of this is seen in the early days of microprocessors based controls, SICES could bring extremely advanced solutions, significantly reducing the cost and complexity of the project, at the same time minimising the risks of implementation of such emerging technology.”
“My challenge is to continue to shape the business for the current globalised market, to build resilience for the next 40 years. Our strength is in finding the right balance between implementing modern business management, exercising commercial agility and retaining our ‘technical excellence first’ approach to solutions.

The SICES entire team has a key role in our success. I am engaging our employees by sharing management roles and giving them increased responsibility for the future of our company.

We are building new partnerships with key industry players, adding value to both sides, and delivers increased opportunities to the market. All the while, we maintain and develop our existing SICES customers who enjoy our long term attention and technical capabilities.”
